Total Livestock Genetics offers a wide range of genomic testing and profiling to suit your needs and requirements.

Genomics can provide detailed insight into your cattle’s genetic merit and can assist with unlocking and building your herds potential. The advanced genomic profile portfolios helps you make confident selections and breeding decisions for your herd, saving you both time and money. You can easily identify uncertainty in your replacement heifer selection by tracking parentage and identifying your most valued traits.

Whether you’re after a simple A2 status or full genomic profile, we strive to make the entire process as easy and stress free as possible. We know that dairy farming is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week job, so needless to say, there isn’t much spare time to sit in front of a computer and comb through hundreds of animals for their details. All you have to do is collect your samples, fill in our Genomics Submission Form and post everything to us. By completing the Genomics Submission Form, this grants us access to obtain all the information we need straight from your herd test centre.

Don’t herd test? Don’t stress! We work with DataGene to ensure your animals are added to the national database, purely to make the testing process as fluent as possible. We can work closely with your herd test centre, if you have one, to make sure that your data always matches the correct animals we are working with at the time.

We also offer on-farm assistance with sample collection. We are flexible and can easily accommodate to your daily farming routine. Whether it’s during milking or feeding the calves, we’re able to assist and get the job done no matter what time of the day.

 The Igenity Dashboard is your one stop shop for easy access to your genomic data anywhere, anytime. This dashboard is an interactive tool that can be used for interpreting genomic results and guiding management decisions. Available on your phone, tablet or computer, the dashboard is available for every dairy farmer – purebred and commercial alike. It allows you to sort and filter your genomic results to your preferences as well as visualize your data in the form of graphs and charts.

The Igenity Dashboard is available to all clients who utilize any of the above Igenity profiles.
